Speakers 2016

Jonas Nordlander and Filip Engelbert
Founders of Avito

Jonas and Filip moved to Moscow in 2007 and started Avito – the largest classifieds (annonssida) in Auto, Real Estate, Jobs, Services and General Goods in Russia, and one of the largest classifieds in the world on the Internet. Avito is one of the most well-known consumer brands in Russia and has approx. 500 employees. Jonas and Filip’s journey from one of many to the leading brand in Russia has been incredible and has included both failures and successes. The catalyst for Avito has been, and will always be, talented employees. Prior to Avito, Jonas was a co-founder of Tradera and Filip was an investment banker. Jonas and Filip will tell you about a tough and fascinating journey, give advice on how you can succeed abroad and how to build a billion dollar company in just a few years. They will speak about the volatility in the business environment and how close success is to failure.
